I’m introducing the Clients Cloud Portal of my Law Office. Built so we can exchange large documents without the usual email headaches. Instead of juggling attachments and inbox limits, you’ll have a private workspace to upload, download, and organise our files, documents and court pleadings. Typical email services cap attachments at around 20 or 50 MB, so first of all this portal removes that bottleneck entirely.
You can self-register for an account and request access to your workplace. Once approved, you’ll see a clean folder structure where you can drag-and-drop uploads, rename or replace files, and add short notes when needed. Access is permission-based: only you plus me or assigned persons can view your documents.
Security is built in: All transfers run over HTTPS/TLS, which encrypts data in transit between your browser and my UK or FR server, preventing interception and tampering. You’ll notice the “https://” lock when you sign in; that indicates the encrypted channel we require for every session. As lawyers, we have a duty to safeguard client information. The American Bar Association’s guidance makes clear that we must take reasonable, risk-based measures for electronic communications; secure portals are one of the recommended approaches when sensitivity is high.1 Likewise, UK data-protection guidance highlights encryption and controlled access as key measures when transferring personal data.2
You’ll also get practical workflow benefits. The portal keeps an activity record (who uploaded or downloaded what, and when) so there’s a clear audit trail for our files. When new documents are shared with you, you’ll receive an email notification, which means no more searching your inbox for the latest version. If a document is revised, you can upload the updated file and add a note; we’ll keep the matter folder current so everyone is working from the same source.
This is particularly helpful for large bundles (e.g., multi-hundred-page PDFs), scanned exhibits, audio/video evidence, and high-resolution images. All the kinds of materials that routinely exceed inbox limits or get blocked by mail filters.
Getting started is simple: go to cloud.yannakas.me, use the Sign Up option, and complete your profile. I’ll approve access promptly, and you can begin uploading right away.
My goal is to make document exchange faster, safer, and more organised and without adding complexity to your day. If you have any questions about using the portal (passwords, sharing with a spouse/business partner, or best practices for scanning), just let me know. I’m happy to walk you through it and make sure everything works smoothly for your matter from the first upload onward.
